I had my cataract surgery for both of my eyes at Herzig Eye Institute in August this year, great experience with the entire team! Highly recommend this eye institute to anyone who needs eye / vision treatments. Dr. Barrett Eubanks is so professional, friendly and patient to examine and review my situation and provide various options for me to consider. During surgery, he explained clearly each of his move to make me feel so calm and relax; Julie Wang, the consultant handling my case, has been so helpful in providing details information of the different types of lenses and technology available and the associated costs. She is very responsive and provided quick turnaround answers to all my questions and concerns. Mary Ann from the front desk has been very helpful and very polite to patients. All the nurses are friendly, professional and efficient. The institute is operating in a very effective and efficient manner and overall I had a great experience with them and am glad that I had made the right choice !!

Huge thank you to the entire staff at Herzig Eye in Ottawa. Initially went through consultation exploring LASIK, however found out I was not a good candidate for it considering the state of my eyes, etc.Dr. Malik was able to provide me an alternative, ICL, and after a couple of days to go over it I decided to dive right into it and book the appointment.The procedure was quick and painless. Followed the instructions provided, and Dr. Malik and Dr. Baig, who performed the operation, took great care of me. My vision is better than with my glasses.Its been about 2 months since my procedure, and its still going great. Ive had my eye surgery done by Dr. Eubanks and my experience was extremely positive. The staff are also very kind and helpful and my surgery went perfectly well!

Excellent results ... the high-tech laser cataract surgery was amazing, and the IOL implants have been life-changing. One month after surgery and I can read even the smallest print on prescription bottles without glasses and my distance vision is equally as good. Dr. Eubanks and his team were superb ... from preliminary assessment, through pre-surgery instructions, day of surgery, and follow-up, they have been top-notch every step of the way.

The procedures went extremely: no pain, other than when the IV needle was installed. I wish that I had pursued clarification of the limits of the medium distance lens. I am finding that I am having a bit of trouble in reading smaller font of normal transcripts and on my cell phone. I had a brief explanation that I might require cheaters/reading glasses for smaller fonts; I just didnt expect the impact of this lens on reading.
