Herzig was a wonderful experience! I had a cataract removed from my right eye! I wanted Lens that gave me 20/20 near and far sightedness! Plus they corrected for astigmatism!The staff were all wonderful! Friendly, professional and efficient!I was very nervous but I did not need to be! They took their time to explain everything to me!A painless procedure!Dr Herzig was my Doctor and he was wonderful!They even gave me a warm blanket when they gave me freezing drops plus a mango protein shake and raspberry newtons after the procedure plus sunglasses!I felt so well taken care of! Will go back for my second eye!

I had cataract surgery at Herzig Eye Institute in Ottawa and it was a very positive experience. Staff were professional and very pleasant, Dr. Baig was great and my eyesight is perfect. I highly recommend Herzig!

Dr. Kashif Baig and his enthusiastic, capable, efficient staff performed laser assisted cataract surgery on both my eyes barely a week ago and already, I notice a vast difference in my vision. Everything is so much brighter! While my visual acquity is still a work in progress, I am a believer in Dr. Baig's confident prognosis that my sight will return to 20:20 in a short while.The staff in this excellent clinic were all cheerful, welcoming, reassuring and thoroughly professional. While I did contact two other clinics in Ottawa prior to visiting Herzig, I believe I made the correct choice in selecting on the Herzig Eye Institute.If my experience is any guide, this is the eye clinic of choice for this procedure. As noted elsewhere, the cost of this surgery is not insubstantial, especially if one opts for the laser assist and upgraded lenses, which I did. That said, considering it was my sight at issue, I consider this an acceptable expense regardless of the amount.
